Triangle Pose is excellent for strengthening the hips and chest, opening the heart and lungs with a full extension of the arms.

To get into Triangle:
πŸ”ΊBegin standing with your arms at the side.
πŸ”Ί Inhale, lift your arms overhead.
πŸ”Ί Exhale, step your right foot to the side 2-3 feet. Bring your arms parallel to the mat.
πŸ”Ί Turn your right foot out and bend the right knee 90 degrees, bringing the knee directly over the ankle.
πŸ”Ί Extend your left arm up and bring the right arm down as you fold toward your right foot. Stack your shoulders; right elbow comes to meet right knee.
πŸ”Ί Bring your chin to your left shoulder, gaze goes up.

To exit the posture, move your arms first, then straighten your legs and turn your toes forward.

Repeat on the left side.
